LOOTWIRE GUIDE
What Live Now shows
Live Now is the simplest Twitch view in LootWire: channels that are broadcasting at this moment, ordered from the largest current audience downward. When a channel goes offline it leaves the live directory, and the next refresh reflects the newer Twitch snapshot.
This is intentionally different from Trending. A huge channel can rank first in Live Now without being the fastest-growing stream, while a smaller channel can appear in Trending because its audience is accelerating between observations. Use the filters here when you want the current directory; use Trending when you want movement.
Language and category filters
Filters help narrow the current snapshot without changing the underlying ranking logic.
Online only
Offline channels do not remain in this list. Use Most Followed or channel search for broader discovery.
Frequently asked questions
How often does the list change?
LootWire refreshes cached Twitch data periodically, so viewer counts and channel order can move as new snapshots arrive.
Why did a channel disappear?
Live Now only contains channels currently broadcasting. A channel that goes offline is removed from the next applicable snapshot.
Why is a channel high here but not in Trending?
Live Now measures current audience size. Trending measures recent movement between observations, so the two rankings answer different questions.
